Naturally we fear 2012 is really gonna bake & boil cuz spring has been so hot & dry.
Statistically, there is NO data or fact to justify that expectation.
That said, the long range forecast for April is hotter than normal & drier than normal.
The mountain snowpack is 60% normal; bodes ill for local gardeners.

March 2012, was our driest March on record, and 2d warmest on record.
Living here for years, and we have never had a look at the sand hill cranes migration in southern Colorado.
The weather was right, the time was right, so we had a look.
